PERFUME BODY OIL

Perfume - "Per Fumum" Latin meaning "through the smoke". In ancient times, fragrant resins were burned as incense offerings. That was the origin. Today, we understand perfume to be a solution containing 30% to 15% perfume oil and 70% to 85% alcohol, respectively. What happened to perfumes between the origin and today? What is the secret? OIL. The answer is oil-based perfumes or Perfume Oil. If you'll think back through history, a precious gift of Kings, Queens and other nobility was a perfumed oil. Understand that oil penetrates any porous material (e.g. paper, wood, hair, skin, etc.); therefore, oil-based perfumes or perfume oil  will penetrate the skin, causing the fragrance to stay. Alcohol is a drying agent. Alcohol dries (evaporates) from the most porous material within a short period of time.
     All Commercially available "perfumes" are actually  perfume oil with fillers. The fillers are mostly alcohol; sometimes even water.    The difference is that pleasant, sensuous scent of oil-based perfumes or perfume oil  will LINGER LONGER, AND CONTAINS NO FILLERS.  The scented perfume oil or fragrance body oil is an alternative to expensive designer perfumes on the market today.  This product is a body essential for everyone.

You'll find perfume oils fun because you can blend 3 types together to arrive at your own unique blend.  You may use a few drops in unscented body lotion bases, body butter bases, shower gel bases, or natural body spritz  to personalize your own body care products.  Some of the oils are great for making your very own scented candles depending on the flash point.  There are man fragrance, women fragrance and unisex fragrance perfume oils.  There are some people who use these oils in their aroma oil warmers as a scented fragrance product for the home based on the fragrance they like to be around.
